Mole UTV

The commitment by m-powered to develop technologies that support the transition to low carbon operations has resulted in the Mole UTV off road vehicle project. The platform is an extremely capable, battery electric, off-road vehicle that suits the agricultural, industrial and military sectors.

The Mole UTV is designed to provide a durable platform that extends beyond agricultural quads and side-by-sides with substantially increased power, agility, and carrying/towing capacity.

The entire, ground-up design of the Mole ATV focuses on the useability of the vehicle by the operator.

The preliminary design specifications are as follows:

Electric Motor – 100 kW (134hp)

Battery  – 400/800 Volt Lithium Ion battery with 70 kWh capacity, provided with 4 year warranty.

Suspension/Steering – 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steering, fully independent suspension.

Driveline – electro-hydraulic driveline with variable motors and pumps

Max speed – 70 km/hr

Auxiliaries  - hydraulic tipping tray, hydraulic steering, hydraulic suspension lift

Controls – Digital platform with Joystick and Touchscreen for vehicle user inputs.

Weights – approx 1500kg, carrying capacity of 800 kg, towing capacity 1000 kg,
